51 OCAK 2025 Çevre Lisesi Öğrencileri Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi’nde Çevre High School Students at Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi Çevre Koleji Lise Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü’nün 29 Kasım Cuma günü düzenlediği tiyatro etkinliğinde öğrencilerimiz, öğretmenleri ile İBB Şehir Tiyatroları Ümraniye Sahnesi’nde Yaşar Kemal’in aynı adlı eserinden uyarlanan “Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi” adlı oyunu izlediler. Hazırlık ve 10. sınıflardamüfredat kapsamında yer alan “efsane” konusu ile ilgili okuttuğumuz; şaşırtıcı imgelemi, insan ruhunun derinliklerini kavrayışı, anlatımının şiirselliğiyle yalnızca Türk romanının değil dünya edebiyatının da önde gelen isimlerinden biri olan Yaşar Kemal’in Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi adlı eserinde, kapısına kadar gelen bir atı geri vermeyerek geleneğine sahip çıkma sorumluluğunu üstlenmek zorunda kalan Ahmet ile bölgenin yönetiminde söz sahibi olanMahmut Han’ın kızı Gülbahar’ın hikâyesi anlatılmaktadır. Yaşar Kemal’in usta kaleminde hem kültürün rengi hem tarihin izi hem halkın yükünü taşıyan “Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi”ne dönüşen bu hikâyeyi öğrencilerimiz büyük bir keyifle izlediler. On Friday, November 29th, the Turkish Language and Literature Department of Çevre College High School organized a theatre event where our students, along with their teachers, watched the play “Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi”, adapted from Yaşar Kemal’s renowned work, at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters’ Ümraniye Stage. The play is based on the theme “legend” studied in the curriculum for Preparatory and 10th-grade students. The story, featured in Yaşar Kemal’s masterpiece, showcases the surprising imagery, deep understanding of the human soul, and poetic narrative style of one of the leading figures in not just Turkish literature but world literature as well. It tells the tale of Ahmet, who must uphold the responsibility of preserving tradition by not returning a horse that came to his doorstep, and Gülbahar, the daughter of Mahmut Han, a key figure in the region’s governance. Brought to life through Yaşar Kemal’s masterful storytelling, this narrative reflects the vibrant colours of culture, traces of history, and the burdens of the people, transforming into “Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi”. Our students enjoyed the play immensely.
