Elt Konferansı Çevre Koleji İngilizce Bölümü, 15 Şubat 2025 tarihinde 19. geleneksel ELT konferansında Türkiye’nin dört bir yanından gelen İngilizce öğretmenlerini Erenköy kampüsünde ağırladı. “The Language of Love: Transforming Classrooms with Compassion” başlıklı konferansın ana konuşmacıları Prof Dr Yavuz Samur, Paul Seligson, ve Anna Hasper yenilikçi stratejiler keşfetmemize ve öğretim metodolojilerimize sevgi ve şefkati nasıl dahil edebileceğimize dair fırsatlar sunarken ilham verici başarı hikayeleri paylaştılar ve eğitimde duygusal zekanın rolü üzerine çeşitli aktiviteler önerdiler. Eş zamanlı devam eden 8 farklı eğitim atölyesinin de bulunduğu konferansta öğretmenler, yaklaşık 20 yabancı yayınevinin stantlarını gezme fırsatı da buldular. Onur konuğumuz Bora Öztoprak, şarkılarıyla herkese coşkulu anlar yaşattı. Çevre College 19th Elt Conference On February 15, 2025, the Çevre College English Department hosted English teachers fromall over Turkey at its Erenköy campus for the 19th annual ELT conference. Titled “The Language of Love: Transforming Classrooms with Compassion,” the conference featured keynote speakers Prof. Dr. Yavuz Samur, Paul Seligson, and Anna Hasper, who shared inspiring success stories while offering opportunities to explore innovative strategies and incorporate love and compassion into teaching methodologies. They also introduced various activities highlighting the role of emotional intelligence in education. The conference included eight simultaneous workshops, allowing teachers to engage in hands-on training, and provided an opportunity to visit stands from nearly 20 international publishing houses. Our guest of honour, Bora Öztoprak, added to the excitement with a captivating musical performance.
