HAZ ø RAN 2025 80 Çevre Lisesi “Silikon Vadisi’nde Çevre High School in Silicon Valley Çevre Lisesi Hazırlık, 9,10. sınıf öğrencileri, 26 Mart-4 Nisan 2025 tarihlerinde Lise Matematik Bölüm Başkanı Gülhan Pamuk önderliğinde, Lise Müdür Yardımcımız Fatma Çırağ ve lise Matematik Öğretmenimiz Pınar Övseme eşliğinde Silikon Vadisi’ne gittiler. Öğrencilerimiz, dünyanın en önemli bilişim merkezi olan Silikon Vadisi’ni ve dünyanın önde gelen üniversitelerinden UCLA, UC Berkeley ve Stanford Üniversitelerini ziyaret etmenin yanı sıra eğitimlere de katıldılar. California’daki teknoloji devlerinin vazgeçilmez ikonu olan Silikon Vadisi’nde Intel, Apple, Meta, Google ziyaretleriyle öğrencilerimiz keyifli vakit geçirdiler. Bukadar eğitimle alakalı konununyanındaBatı Amerika turumuzuda yapmış olduk. California’da dünyanın en büyük sinema yapımlarının çekildiği Universal Studios ve eğlence parkı olan Six Flags Magic Mountain’a gittik. Öğrencilerimiz; Beverly Hills, Griffith Observatory, Stars of Fame Hollywood ve Santa Monica gezileriyle keyifli bir gün geçirdiler. San Diego Old Town Bölgesinde keşif yaptık ve Santa Barbara’da Solvang Danimarka Köyü’nü gezme fırsatı bulduk. Bu gezi ile öğrencilerimiz problem çözebilen, eleştirel düşünebilen, çağını yakalayan, sorunlara analitik bakış açısı geliştirebilen bireyler olma yolunda gelişirken matematik, fizik, mühendislik, yazılım, bilişim teknolojileri alanlarıyla ilgili de somut bir tecrübe yaşadılar. Öğrencilerimiz, katıldıkları workshop ve seminerlerde okulumuzu çok iyi temsil ettiler. Eğitim gezimize katılan öğrencilerimizi tebrik ediyoruz. CevreHigh School Prep, 9-10th grade students went to SiliconValley under the supervision of Gülhan Pamuk (Math teacher), Fatma Çırağ (High School Vice Principal) and Pınar Övseme (Math Teacher) between 26th March -April 4th, 2025. In addition to visiting the world’smost important IT center, SiliconValley and the leading universities of UCLA, Berkeley, Stanford, they also attended the training. We had a pleasant time visiting Intel, Apple, Meta and Google in California’s Silicon Valley, which is the indispensable icon of technology giants. In addition to educational expeditions, we also made our Western America tour.Wewent toUniversal Studios, where theworld’s biggestmovieproductions are shot, and to the amusement park Six Flags Magic Mountain. With this trip, our students had a solid experience in the fields of mathematics, physics, engineering, software, information technologies, while developing on theway to be individuals who can solve problems, think critically, catch upwith their age and develop an analytical perspective on problems. Our students represented our school very well in the workshops and seminars they attended. Congratulations to our students who participated in our educational trip.
