ÇEVRE HIGHLIGHTS - 30. SAYI

57 HAZ İ RAN 2026 Hasan DEMİR How is your educational life going? I can say that my educational life has been going very well overall. Since Istanbul Erkek High School is one of the top high schools in Türkiye, the academic pace is naturally intense and can sometimes be challenging. Learning German, in particular, is not an easy process, but I believe that with consistent and effective study, it is possible to make significant progress. Besides academics, school life is not only about lessons; clubs, events, museum visits, and various activities organized by the school administration and different institutions make our educational experience very rich and enjoyable. Therefore, although it is demanding, I can say that it is a rewarding and enjoyable journey. Do you think attending Çevre College has contributed to your success in managing this pace? Yes, I definitely think so. Being exposed to different and challenging question types at an early stage was a great advantage for me. It helped me become more prepared for various styles of questions that I might encounter in exams and improved my analytical thinking skills. In addition, the way our teachers explained topics through different methods, identified our weaknesses, and helped us work on them contributed greatly to my development. Looking back, I believe that Çevre College provided me with both a strong academic foundation and the discipline needed for effective studying. What advice would you give to students who will be taking the exam this year? First of all, I believe that students who are about to take the exam have already worked hard throughout the year, because success is not achieved in the final week but through a long-term process. My advice would be to stop studying intensively a few days before the exam and focus mainly on revision. Taking care of their health during the final weeks is also important; avoiding strenuous sports activities and being cautious about what they eat can be beneficial. During the exam, they should try to remain calm, as stress can affect everyone in the first few minutes. I was also very nervous when I first entered the exam, but once I calmed down, I was able to focus much better. I would also recommend avoiding heavy meals during the break, keeping some water with them, taking care of their needs during the intervals, and filling in the answer sheet carefully. Most importantly, they should trust themselves and avoid panicking. Confidence and a calm mindset can make a significant difference on exam day.
